Career Paths:
Woven fabrics are found in apparel, architecture, home furnishings, etc. Career paths for weaving includes traditional careers such as textile design, industrial weaving machine operator and technicians. Woven fabrics also have their own space in research and development, and education as well. The future of woven materials will require a workforce that is able to work with multiple disciplines, as electronics and sensors continue to be integrated into fabrics.
